After more than two and a half years of war, Syria is in full escalation of violence. A conflict that seems to not have a clear end, but meanwhile the direct consequences for the population are extreme. In addition, Syria is a regionally important country and, therefore, the consequences of the conflict affect beyond its borders. Probably, Lebanon is the country that is most affected, since there is no other country in the region that is so strongly divided internally on this conflict. In addition, history has made these two countries strongly intertwined, causing that what happens in each one of the countries has a direct impact on the other.
